Placed an order for a countertop appliance on a "20% off" holiday coupon. The coupon was not applied, but the exclusion was never stated or a subtotal provided so I could back out of the transaction.
Called customer service, closed for the night. Called at 8:15AM ET the next morning (CS opens at 8:00) and got the "cannot cancel, this is already in the system" BS. I am told I can return it to WS but my card has already been charged. Now I have to wait until said unwanted item is delivered and then drive to the nearest store and go through whatever refund process they have, which I hear is...challenging.
Won't be ordering anything from WS any time soon, especially online. This is deceptive.
