Placed order on Dec 1 for gift giving purposes for the obvious December holiday. Items were noted as "In Stock & Ready to Ship" at the point of pushing the button to conclude purchase.

Order confirmation sttated delivery expected between Dec 6-Dec 8. Checked order status on Dec 8...showed "In Process". Checked order status on Dec 11 - - - Backordered. This is not my first bad experience with WS online.

Huh? This feels like arriving for a flight and finding out you don't have a seat available to you. My most civil inquiry has been placed to WS customer service, even though I would have expected them to email me with a change in status on my we shall see what transpires and what the definition of "Backordered" really is time wise.

Unfortunately, these 6 items (all identical pie plates) are just a portion of the themed gifts for the sisters-in-law. I don't know what I will do if these do not arrive in time.
