I wanted to purchase a Shun classic Nakiri knife for $99.95 online and pick it up in the store for my mom for christmas since the delivery fee and tax would have been another $25. The website wouldn't let me because none of the 6 stores near me had them in stock.

I went to the store last weekend to purchse it while it was still on sale and wait for it to come in and the sales associate said they couldn't do that unless I had it shipped to my house and paid the shipping fee. She said to wait until it was in stock March 3rd and they would honor the sales price.

I went back to the store, the price went up to $144.95 and the person there said that they don't have the authority to honor sales prices. I called customer service who said the same thing!!!!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $46.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

I didn't like: Got screwed of sales price.
