I purchased a birthday gift for someone at William Sonoma Online with a delivery date of 11/22, it never arrived. I called them today to follow up and found out that they were out of the item when I placed my order but their inventory was wrong.

They never contacted me to tell me and I don't know when they would have told me if I hadn't called them to find out where it was?

Now I will have no birthday gift for a very important person, or a very late one. I have made my first and last purchase with them; I will never buy from them they are too unreliable.

Product or Service Mentioned: Williams Sonoma Shipping Service.

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Preferred solution: Fix your inventory system or contact your customer faster on items not in stock!.

I liked: Customer service person on the phone when i complained.

I didn't like: Communication and poor inventory control.

I had same experience. Nobody answer the phones, no supervisor, no call back.
